As in previous years, part of the Christmas Programme this year also involved a number of staff members who organised voluntary work. Some students visited the Helen Keller School, a school for students with special needs while another group distributed Christmas cards to the neighbours of our school. Another group of students went to sing Christmas carols in homes for the elderly while a number of students went to help out at Dar il-Ħanin Samaritan, Kitchen Garden at the President’s Palace and Tomasina, a Cats’ Sanctuary. We have also organised an activity in our Art Room, where a good number of students made Christmas cards which shall be given out to patients who shall visit the Renal Unit on Christmas Day. For those who prefer sport we have also organised a football tournament where donations for two families in need were collected.
We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to our members of staff for these initiatives, we thank the students who participated in these activities and last, but not least, we thank the parents who gave permission to their children so that they could take part in all this.
