Here are some tips to success!
1. Have a Positive Attitude
Approach the big test as you'd approach a giant jigsaw puzzle. It might be tough, but you can do it! A positive attitude goes a long way toward success.
2. Make a Plan
The week before the test, ask your teacher what the test is going to cover. Is it from the textbook only? Class notes? Can you use your calculator? If you've been absent, talk to friends about material you may have missed. Make a list of the most important topics to be covered and use that as a guide when you study.
Works on the face-lift of the side of the school facing the football ground are now complete.
As the workers put on the last finishing touches to their work and dismantle the scaffolding, the beautiful work done can be now fully appreciated and enjoyed.
Apart from the sun, the only natural resource we have is our stone. A very well know Architect and Professor, once said of our builders that they work on our stone as if they are curving through biscuits! And as we witnessed the progress of the work that was being done day after day on the side of our school, we could appreciate the beautiful colour and texture of our globigerina limestone.
Mr Jens Anderson from Kumla School, Vialundskolan – Sweden, together with two of his colleagues, recently spent half a day with us at our school. The main objective behind their visit was to explore the Maltese Educational System particularly our School's philosophy and ethos and to see how we implement ICT across the curriculum, this being one of our main objectives of our school development plan. Mr Anderson came to know us through the eTwinning Platform as part of the EU Life Long Learning projects.
We are deeply honoured to have the opportunity to lead St Michael School’s community as it enters its 64th year of service. Through the years we have developed a strong appreciation for the holistic approach to education and we try our best to provide an outstanding opportunity for youths to grow and develop as mature Christian citizens.
