Work on Car Park and Ground

In September, the first part of the above mentioned project (where there are the workshops and part of the ground where there is the tuck shop) was ready. Work has now started on the carpark.  Amongst other things this includes the 45 pillars needed to be set up with the beams to hold the ceiling.  Till now half of the pillars are ready, and work also started on the toilets which shall be connected to the gym and on the entrance to the carpark.  Various other works including pipe works, drains…

Form 2 – Live-Ins

On Saturday, 28th October at 9.30 pm the second Form 2 live in came to an end.  During these two live-ins the students together with their teachers had time to think about the diversity and the common issues found in boys and teens within our school.  On Thursday they watched together the film Like Stars on Earth and afterwards, the film was discussed in groups. During the week between the 16th and 19th October, the school’s Erasmus+ project for the scholastic years 2017-2019 started to take shape by the meeting that was being held in Biella, Italy, between the school’s coordinators of the this project. The Feast of St Michael, our Patron Saint.

The Church celebrates the feast of St Michael, St Gabriel and St Rafael on the 29th of September. This day is very special for us being the feast day of our School’s Patron Saint. All set for a new Scholastic Year.

All hands were on deck during these two days which brought to an end a very busy and industrious ten weeks of summer recess. If summer was anything, it definitely wasn’t holidays for a good number of workers within our school community. Shakespeare Study-course at Stratford-upon-Avon

On Monday 28th August, a group of 21 Form 4 and Form 5 students together with Mr Clive Piscopo and Ms Amanda Smith, our English Teachers left to Stratford-upon-Avon, England, to attend a course at Shakespeare Birthplace. During their stay, they are going to follow a study-course on the works of William Shakespeare with particular focus on three of his major plays, mainly ‘Titus Andronicus’, ‘Antony and Cleopatra’ and Julius Caesar at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. The Publication of the Annual Examinations Results

On Tuesday 12th July at noon the results of the Annual Examinations were posted at the Central Mail Office of the MaltaPost. It was a relatively long process of correcting, checking, inputting marks, printing and enveloping. Thanks to our teachers and secretarial staff, this laborious exercise was completed efficiently as scheduled. Green Flag Award for the fourth consecutive time.

Two students members of EkoSkola from our School, accompanied by Mr Simon Camilleri, Assistant Head and Mr Joseph Savona, our EcoSchool Coordinator, attended a special ceremony, presided by H.E. the President Ms Marie Louise Coleiro Preca and held at The President's Palace, Valletta on Monday 3rd July at 10:00 to receive on our behalf the prestigious Green Flag Award for the fourth consecutive time. Car park and Ground - Works in progress

The shell-form of the new basement extension is taking form. What was still on the drawing board a couple of months ago is now very visible. The formation of the new workshops, service rooms, corridors, shafts, lift and access to the main building is now taking shape and within a couple of days it will reach its final stages. Graduation Day 2017

On Tuesday 6rd June, seventy finalist received their School Certificate & Profile and their diploma during a special celebration, presided by Mr Ruben Pace, Director. The opening prayer consisted of short readings from excerpts taken from the writings of St George Preca. This was then followed by the sharing experiences by ten students, who highlighted some of the events, activities and incidents that they feel where most meaningful during the five scholastic years they spent at our school.…
