First Prize Award for the Competition of Short Films

30th October:European Day of Languages 

The National Agency Literacy together with the Ministry of Education celebrated the European Day of Languages at the St Ignatius College Middle School, tal-Ħandaq.

The programme included drama, dialogues in foreign languages and presentations on languages and cultures of different countries.  Each school that attended presented different aspects on foreign languages.

At the end of this celebration our students Kurt Caruana, Liam Pace, Luke Buttigieg, James Morrison, Joel Gatt and Abner Farrugia received the first prize award for the competition of short films entitled ‘Living Languages Opens New Worlds’. They are the authors and producers of the film ‘The Unknown Language’.

Once more we congratulate the students for winning this competition and we thank Mr Parascandalo for his initiative in directing the students.
