Green Flag Award for the fourth consecutive time.

Two students members of EkoSkola from our School, accompanied by Mr Simon Camilleri, Assistant Head and Mr Joseph Savona, our EcoSchool Coordinator, attended a special ceremony, presided by H.E. the President Ms Marie Louise Coleiro Preca and held at The President’s Palace, Valletta on Monday 3rd July at 10:00 to receive on our behalf the prestigious Green Flag Award for the fourth consecutive time.

The ceremony started with short messages read by four students from different schools. It was very interesting to note that these activities which are co-ordinated by Nature Trust (Malta) are part of a wider and bigger international organization that brings together millions of members, especially students from around the world.

As a school, we should really feel proud that our past and present committees have been able not just to keep the momentum for what is basic to win the Green Flag, but also for creating a number of new initiatives over these past ten years. The committee was also able to created many new initiatives at school level, shared and passed on ideas to other groups and moreover participated in every activity held by Nature Trust on a National level.

It is more than fitting, that as a school, we thank Mr Joseph Savona, for dedicating so much energy and dedication, without which, we would have never been able to qualify for these awards.
