Prize giving ceremony to students participating in green educational events in favour of healthy oceans.

Nikolai Matvei Mifsud, a Form 2 student from our school, was awarded a certificate for a project about a research he conducted concerning the self-guarding of oceans.  Nikolai was one of the winners in this competition organised by the Malta National Aquarium were all schools were invited to celebrate the World Day of Oceans.  The students had to make a research about the protection of oceans.  The ceremony took place this morning, and Nikolai who placed first in this competition was awarded by Maltese Ambassador for the Oceans, Professor Alan Deidun and the Hon. Minister Owen Bonnici, Minister for Education.

The ceremony took place at the Malta National Aquarium, Qawra.  We would like to congratulate Nikolai for this achievement and for his initiative in various areas of study.  We also encourage other students to take part in similar activities which will certainly help them grow holistically.
