Part of the Christmas activities we organize as a school is voluntary work carried out by the staff and students, and like previous years we have organized varied groups to carry out different voluntary work.
This year we had about a group of 80 students who went to distribute Christmas cards in Valletta, Mdina and Luqa Airport whilst another group went carol singing in elderly homes in Marsaxlokk. Some students went to AWAS and to Helen Keller school.
There were also some students who went to a Cat Sanctuary and others who carried out voluntary work at the Dar Ħanin Samaritan. Others left for Golden Bay with Nature Trust to clean up while others remained at school preparing Christmas Logs to be sold in aid of charity to help those in the Albania earthquake. A car wash in our car park was also organized to contribute for the same cause. Other students took part in a football tournament to raise funds for the Caritas.
These initiatives enrich the sense of helping others and help our youths in still social awareness and educate themselves to respect the need to help others.
We would like to thank all the staff members who organized these activities and the students for participating. Thanks also to the parents for giving consent to their children for taking part in these activities
